Situations like this can be tricky to navigate, however, it is important to remember that as an employee, you have rights. Firstly, it is crucial to consult your employment contract to ensure that the company is not breaching any terms. If the contract stipulates that termination is only valid with a stated cause, then the company cannot force you to resign. If this is not the case, then it may be worthwhile to negotiate with the company to explore alternative options, such as a temporary transfer or further training to prepare you for the new role. You may also wish to seek legal advice on whether refusal to transfer can be considered constructive dismissal and if you may be entitled to compensation. Remember, communication is key and it is crucial to approach the situation calmly and professionally to find an amicable resolution.

Dear employee, it is important to first understand the terms of your employment contract. If your contract allows for transfers to different departments or branches, then the company has the right to request for such transfers to be made. However, if the transfer would result in a significant change in job scope and responsibilities, then you may have grounds to negotiate with your employer about a more suitable position that would be more in line with your current job description. Regarding the issue of termination, it is not lawful for an employer to force an employee to resign in such a manner. If they are insisting that you resign, you may want to seek legal advice and explore avenues for taking legal action against the company. Additionally, if your contract specifies the amount of compensation owed in the event of early termination, the company should fulfill their obligations and pay you accordingly. My advice would be to seek the assistance of a lawyer or legal representative to help you better understand your legal rights and options in this situation. It is important to advocate for your rights as an employee and ensure that you are not unfairly treated or penalized by your employer. Best of luck in resolving this issue.
