Nylex Specialty Chemicals Sdn Bhd (NSC) (formerly known as Albright & Wilson and then Rhodia Consumer Specialties (M) Sdn Bhd) is the only licensed manufacturer of orthophosphoric and polyphosphoric acid in Malaysia since 1977. It also produces Metal Finishing/Polishing solutions, Blended Surfactants and Dipotassium Phosphates solution. Phosphoric acid is supplied to multinational corporations in the Asia Pacific region.

Speciality Phosphates (M) Sdn Bhd (SPM) is a joint venture company with Omichi Seiyaku (Japan) which produces neutral and low pH grades of Sodium Hexametaphosphate (SHMP) flake and powder for the Asia Pacific Region. SPM has been in production since 1988 and markets its products under the trade name “PERPHOS”®. SHMP is used as a food and beverage preservative and in the paint industries
