Lewré Bespoke is founded in 1997 and has won multiple awards and recognition over the years for its excellence in design, masterful crafts and the ability to lead the shoe fashion industry into new heights. Founded by renowned designer and royal couturier, Dato Lewré Lew, the label has actively participated in global trade fairs and London fashion weeks with the aim to be the face of haute couture made to order footwear.

Lewré (pronounced as Lu-Ray) represents the rays of hope, is the brainchild of renowned designer and royal couturier Dato Lewré Lew Fong Voon. As a child, Lew spends most mornings helping out his parents in the rubber plantation, and there is where he witnesses the beauty and serenity of the morning glow – through the dense thick forest.

This light he saw has never been forgotten, it illuminates his path to success, providing him with inspiration every day when the first light hits the mother of Earth. From humble beginnings to becoming a jet-setter and icon for couture fashion, Lew’s mission has only begun. He shares an ambitious vision for the brand to be the drive to help transform and inspire a new generation of homegrown designers – just like the light who has guided him in his quest, he is ready to shed lights for budding talents in the industry.

Lewré was founded by Dato Lew under the witness of Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, the former Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry and the world renown shoe designer, Dato Prof Jimmy Choo in 1997. The Lewré label has forged its reputation through its excellence and exclusivity in arts and design, each piece of footwear is a masterpiece of art.

Over the years, Lew and his team have showcased world-class design through the collaboration with renowned Haute designers such as Ben De Lisi, Arkadius Weremczuk, John Rocha, Bernard Chandran and Eri Way to name a few. The birth of Lewré Bespoke is a major breakthrough which brings forth transformation, not just for the brand for a bigger and viable demand for haute couture footwear globally.

Since the launch of the flagship Lewré Bespoke boutique, the label has worked relentlessly to deliver the best possible footwear to patrons. “It’s very personal” spells the greatness in the footwear label, each pair is handmade into perfection which grants patrons the beauty and elegance one can carry without abdicating comfort; each pair of creation is a masterpiece and heart song of Lew and his team of designers and craftsman.

The prestigious homegrown Lewré brand was a proud recipient of the Putra Brand “SME brand of the year” in 2011 and named “Brand of the year 2016- Fashion Shoes category” by the world branding forum. Lew has personally attended and designed footwear for the Duchess of York, Kate Middleton, Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza and royal members of the Malaysian royal family.
