Located in the Prai Free Trade Zone, Penang, Malaysia, AKTY was established as an offshoot of HITACHI METALS ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. and registered as a wholly Malaysian-owned company on 19th April 2001. In recognition of our quality systems, AKTY has been awarded the ISO9001:2000 certification (Quality Management System) by SIRIM on 22-Oct-2003 which was then upgraded to ISO9001:2008 in year 2010. AKTY was also awarded the ISO*4001:2004 since year 2007. We have acquired invaluable skills and knowledge in ultra high-precision machining and minute fine assembly of magnetic heads (CSA, MR & GMR), head gimbal assembly (HGA) and head stack assembly (HSA) along with the good values of Japanese-style management.
