Fimaco Sdn Bhd

1979 - Fiamma Sdn. Bhd., first company under Fiamma Holdings Berhad group of companies began operations in Johore Bahru marketing mainly the Elba brand of electrical home appliances. This was followed by the opening of the Kuala Lumpur office.

1980 - Our Penang branch commenced operations. This marked the beginning of Fiamma's expansion throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia.

1984 - Fiamma Industries Sdn. Bhd. was established to venture into the assembling of different types of electrical home appliances marketed and distributed by the Group.

1985 - The Group moved to its own building in Taman Ehsan, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

1987 - Fimaco Sdn. Bhd., commenced its distribution activities of electrical home appliances. Its brands included FABER and MAYTAG.

1993 - The Group relocated to a bigger and more progressive headquarters in Rawang, Selangor.

1995 - Fiamma Holdings Berhad was converted to a public company. Fiamma Trading Sdn. Bhd. was set up to distribute sanitaryware products, bathroom accessories and kitchen appliances.

1997 - Fiamma Holdings Berhad was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

2000 - Fiamma Trading Sdn Bhd commenced the distribution of the Rubine brand of bathroom and sanitaryware products.

2002 - Fimaco Sdn. Bhd. commenced its distribution activities of the Braun brand of electrical home appliances.

2004 - The Group relocated to a new head office cum wholesale distribution centre with automated storage retrieval system facilities in Bandar Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur.

- Fiamma Holdings Berhad acquired the following companies:

• Fiamma Land Sdn. Bhd. for the property development business.

• Enex-Dynamic Sdn. Bhd. for the distribution of water purification products and health products.

2007 - Fiamma Holdings Berhad acquired the following companies:

• 99.99% equity interest in Ebac Kitchen Sdn. Bhd., which is involved in the distribution of pre-fabricated kitchen cabinets and electrical home appliances.

• 70% equity interest in Kingston Medical Supplies (Pte) Ltd and its 100% subsidiary, Kinsmedic Sdn. Bhd., which are involved in the distribution of medical devices and healthcare products under brand names of Omron, Spirit and Tuttnauer.

- Fiamma Development Sdn Bhd entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire five parcels of land, in Section 46, Bandar Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan for the purpose of commercial development. The transaction was completed on 6 November 2007.

- Fiamma Land Sdn Bhd entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire 3 parcels of land in Section 44, Bandar Kuala Lumpur for the purpose of commercial development. The transaction was completed on 12 March 2008.

2008 - Fiamma Holdings Berhad completed the acquisition of 100% equity interest in both Uniphoenix Jaya Sdn. Bhd. and Oaksvilla Sdn. Bhd. on 9 December 2008. The principal activities of these companies are property development.

2009 - Fiamma Trading Sdn Bhd commenced the distribution of electrical home appliances under Whirlpool brand.

2011 - Haustern Sdn. Bhd. commenced the distribution of electrical home appliances and sanitaryware under the Haustern brand.
