The Company is founded by Mr. Augustine Tee Lin Yik in June 2010 with the mission to share best practices of intellectual property to the Malaysian Organizations.

Mr. Tee worked in the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO). During his tenure in MyIPO, he was tasked to do various domestic and international matters concerning IP Policy and Law in particular to Free Trade Agreements (IP Chapter). Mr. Tee also involved in the Patent, Trade Mark, Copyright and Design Law Amendment process in 2008-2010.

Since 2010, TEEIP has grown to a medium size Intellectual Property (Patent and Trade Mark Agency) in Malaysia with over 35 full time team members (including Lawyers, Doctors, Patent Experts, Engineers, Sciences, Marketing, Business, Designs, Finance and other fields).
