ENGTEX GROUP BERHAD and its subsidiaries (“Engtex Group”) began with the incorporation of Engtex Sdn Bhd (‘the Company”) in Malaysia in 1983. The Company started with a humble beginning as a hardware retail shop in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. Together with the rapid development in Malaysia, the Company has made tremendous progress to become a diversified multi-million integrated wholesale and distribution centre with its warehouses and distribution network throughout Malaysia. 

Engtex Group supports the extensive distribution network with each entity under Engtex Group that had been specifically incorporated to cater for a specific geographical location or business sector. Since 1995, Engtex Group has continuously integrated upward into manufacturing activities such as the manufacturing of ductile iron (D.I.) and mild steel (M.S.) cement-lined pipes and fittings, valves, joints, manhole covers and pillar hydrants; steel welded wire mesh, hard-drawn wire as well as operating a steel service centre.
