Requirements
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) and in Microsoft Excel.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or related Professional Certificate.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and supply chain fundamentals.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Able to multitask, work under pressure, and manage priorities.
- Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCount, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and supplier audits.
- Additional knowledge of Incoterms, trade compliance, lean principles, and technical components is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials.
- Evaluate and manage key suppliers based on Quality, Lead Time, Technology, and Cost (QLTC).
- Lead negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and track performance through KPIs.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company standards and requirements.
- Review and approve supplier selections for new projects and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, planning, quality, and finance.
- Monitor supply market trends, manage risks, and identify sourcing opportunities.
- Participate in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
- Manage supplier onboarding and maintain sourcing records in ERP systems.
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering projects.
- Handle supply continuity issues and escalate disruptions when needed.
