Finance Executive

MILA University is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our growing team!In this role, you will manage daily accounting operations, support financial reporting, and assist with administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations. If you have strong accounting skills, are proficient in Excel, and can communicate in English and Mandarin, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum education: Degree and above
- Language required: English & Mandarin
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
- Contribute to the establishment and improvement of corporate financial systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and effective decision-making.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in other projects or duties as required from time to time as directed by the head of department.
Responsibilities
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles. Experience in setting up corporate financial systems is highly preferred.
- Certification: Preference will be given to candidates holding professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
- Skills: Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields.
- Languages: Strong command of English and Mandarin is required to facilitate effective communication across the organization especially those from China. Additional proficiency in BM is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
