Requirements
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a must, along with English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (as long as willing to learn)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Must be computer literate and familiar with any accounting system
- Ability to work independently with strong initiative and also collaborate as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of full set account
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting software
- Update and conduct regular reconciliation of accounts payable, supplier statements, bank statements, Aspire reconciliation/budget limits, and bank accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal adjustments, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the drafting of financial statements in accordance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
