Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field, providing a strong foundation in child development principles and educational practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Early Childhood Education, with a solid understanding of Age-appropriate teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Display exceptional patience and empathy when interacting with young children, creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment that fosters their emotional and social development.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effectively maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere conducive to learning and development.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators as part of a cohesive teamwork approach to curriculum planning and implementation, ensuring a consistent and enriching educational experience for all students.
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with the educational institution's objectives, fostering holistic development in young children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that align with the preschool's curriculum and promote the holistic development of children Aged 4-6 years.
- Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and a love for learning, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
- Observe and assess each child's individual progress, identifying their strengths and areas for development, and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's learning journey.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere, addressing behavioral issues with patience and empathy.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan and execute school-wide events, activities, and parent-teacher conferences, contributing to a cohesive and supportive school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports, adhering to the preschool's policies and procedures.
- Integrate the use of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin in daily activities and lessons to promote multilingualism and cultural awareness among the children.
