Requirements
- Diploma in Interior Design or related field is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator is essential.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is necessary to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Ability to work onsite in Bukit Mertajam and collaborate effectively with the design team.
- Knowledge of current interior design trends, materials, and construction methods is expected.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are crucial for client interactions and project presentations.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in the conceptualization and development of interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations using 3ds Max to effectively communicate design concepts and spatial layouts to clients.
- Develop comprehensive material palettes and furniture specifications, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, budget, and sustainability.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements to accurately document existing conditions and ensure precise execution of design plans during the construction phase.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare presentations and present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary to achieve client satisfaction.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
