Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in management consulting, fintech strategy, or payment systems (ideally with exposure to PSPs, ISOs, or API resellers).
* Deep understanding of payment processing flows (card acquiring, payouts, settlement), third-party APIs, and integration frameworks.
* Experience advising or working with SaaS companies, digital marketplaces, or embedded finance platforms.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with PCI DSS, KYC/AML standards, and regional compliance issues (e.g., PSD2, UPI, GDPR).
* Ability to distill complex technology and business models into actionable strategic plans.
Preferred Qualifications :
* MBA or Master’s in Business, Finance, or Technology.
* Experience working with or consulting for global PSPs, payment aggregators, or white-label API providers.
* Prior exposure to revenue-share models, agent/reseller partnerships, or cross-border payment optimisation.
* Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, and industry platforms.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Management Consultant with deep expertise in the Payment Gateway and API reseller ecosystem to advise on strategic growth, operational efficiency, and technology-driven innovation. You will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate existing payment infrastructure, recommend scalable API monetisation models, and improve market positioning across B2B, SaaS, or platform-based environments.
This role combines fintech insight, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen to deliver measurable results.
* Analyse and assess business models for payment gateways, white-label APIs, and reseller platforms.
* Develop strategic roadmaps to optimise operational workflows, pricing models, and partner/channel structures.
* Identify new revenue streams through value-added services, API bundles, and payment orchestration strategies.
* Evaluate competitors, regulatory frameworks, and evolving market demands across global and regional payment ecosystems.
* Provide advisory on go-to-market strategies for launching or expanding API-based financial services.
* Align product capabilities with market trends and client needs (e.g., embedded finance, digital wallets, fraud prevention tools).
* Guide leadership on scalability, compliance, partnerships, and investment decisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations.
