Requirements
Title: Financial Analyst – LSSC, Malaysia
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
- 2–3 years’ experience in business/financial analysis, preferably in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with transport management systems; CargoWise One experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, team-oriented with high level of integrity.
- Proactive mindset, positive working attitude, and willingness to learn and support others.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and transparency of Gross Profit (GP) reporting before result submission.
- Review and request corrections of inter-file transactions in CW1 system.
- Monitor and follow up with operations on open items and deviations in GP estimates.
- Control monthly inter-office transactions and verify intercompany invoice entries.
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives within the finance workflow.
- Act as Webcost superuser and provide necessary training to operations or finance users.
- Prepare weekly GP run-off reports, unbilled/open files status, and intercompany booking reports.
- Produce monthly dashboards and quarterly business review reports.
