Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial management, with a focus on accounting and tax services within a similar industry.
- Exhibit proven expertise in financial analysis, strategic financial planning, risk management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices related to accounting and tax services.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills to guide and mentor a team of accounting and tax professionals.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex financial issues.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Experience in managing financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and execution of the company's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with long-term growth objectives and shareholder value enhancement within the accounting and tax services sector.
- Provide astute financial leadership, overseeing financial analysis, strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting to optimize profitability and ensure sustainable financial health.
- Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks, safeguarding the company's assets and reputation.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance requirements, including tax laws and accounting standards, mitigating potential legal and financial repercussions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to enhance the company's market position and reputation.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of accounting and tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base and service offerings, leveraging the company's expertise in dry-mix and construction chemicals industry accounting and tax needs.
