Kelayakan

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP principles.
  • Proven ability to plan and develop innovative and cost-effective menus.
  • Excellent team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards.
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control within a kitchen setting.

Tanggungjawab

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to established recipes and standards.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative menus that align with the company's culinary vision, considering seasonal ingredients, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  • Control food costs and minimize waste through effective inventory management, portion control, and efficient ordering practices.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, catering orders, and promotional activities, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functioning and scheduling regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
