Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of relevant working experience;
- Preferably working experience at an audit firm;
- Hands-on experience with SQL accounting software is a plus;
- Computer proficiency in MS Office/ Excel Applications.
- Detail-Oriented, Deadline-Oriented;
- Good Time Management;
- Reliable, Accuracy, Initiative, Teamwork;
- Able to work independently and handle multiple deliverables;
- Scheduling, Monitoring and Analytical thinking;
- Excellent Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills;
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and taxation functions;
- Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for book-keeping purposes.
- Prepare a full set of accounts and Unaudited Financial Statements, in accordance with regulatory guidelines and accounting standards within the target set.
- Prepare tax computation report and analysis within the target set.
- Ensure strict timeline is adhered to;
- Ensure all records are maintained accurately, including adjusting journal entries;
- Ensure accounting records are in compliance with accounting standards and tax laws;
- Understand the basics of accounting procedures and reporting standards;
- Good communication skills with clients, and peers within different departments across the organization and stakeholders.
- Undertake ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
