Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic financial accounting principles and practices.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formula creation, and spreadsheet management.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage assigned tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the financial operations of a growing company.
- Must be able to work onsite in Shah Alam.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data, preparing budget templates, and analyzing budget variances under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring data integrity in the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, providing insights and analysis to management to support decision-making.
- Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and customer account reconciliation.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
