Manages the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within Kelly, including the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, servers, terminals) as well as server applications and software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle). Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades server applications and hardware. Manages and maintains an organization’s IT systems and servers; Installs, configures, and troubleshoots operating systems, software applications, and hardware; Ensures system performance, security, and uptime.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic plans for software systems maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of new software solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard software systems against potential threats.
  • Oversee the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor system performance and utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software systems, including user manuals, technical specifications, and procedural guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.


Technical Skills

  • Working to advanced knowledge in system administration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their administration tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN) and their configuration.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing systems and data.


Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in implementing system changes and upgrades.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
  • Capacity to advise on and implement best practices for system performance and reliability.
