Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Application Support Intern to join our 24×7 Application Support team. This role is ideal for Interns starting their IT career and interns seeking real-world exposure to live production systems in a hybrid, shift-based environment.

You will play a key role in monitoring applications, responding to incidents, and ensuring system availability around the clock.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 application support in a 24×7 environment

• Monitor applications, systems, and alerts during assigned shifts

• Respond to incidents, issues, and service requests within SLA

• Perform basic troubleshooting and initial root cause analysis

• Escalate complex or critical issues to Level 2 / Level 3 teams

• Maintain accurate incident records and documentation

• Support system deployments, maintenance, and release activities

• Ensure proper handover between shifts

Requirements (Fresh Graduates):

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Software Engineering

• Or related fields

• Basic understanding of:

• Windows / Linux operating systems

• Databases (SQL fundamentals)

• Web or enterprise applications

• Willing to work rotational shifts (including night shifts)

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Requirements (Interns):

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science or related fields

• Basic knowledge of systems or applications

• Willing to work shift-based schedules

• Strong learning attitude and responsibility

• Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, etc.)

• Basic SQL querying skills

• Exposure to monitoring tools or system logs

• Basic understanding of ITIL or incident management concepts
