Cleaning Supervisor, your daily responsibilities include attending the morning office briefing to update cleaner attendance. In the event of staff shortages or absences, promptly arrange for additional staff to fill vacant positions. Conduct daily cleaning stock checks and place orders as necessary. Monitor assigned sites regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained. Weekly tasks involve ensuring grass cutting is completed by the specified date without exception. After 4.30 pm, participate in the daily post-mortem of assigned duties at the office. Additionally, on a monthly basis, gather attendance records of all cleaning staff and submit them to the office.
• Prepare food and beverage menu in accordance with defined standards and recipes.
• Training kitchen staff on menu and proper methods of food preparation and handling. Ensure strict adherence to cooking Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) – food portioning, marinating, cooking time, cooking method, food plating, food garnish, and food hygiene – at all times.
• Managing and controlling inventory & minimize food wastage.
• Liaise with purchasing on daily inventory requirements and conduct quality inspections on all incoming deliveries.
• Keeping kitchen clean and tidy. Assist to close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
• Maintain and manage an accurate record of kitchen assets and items (including equipment, fittings, utensils and tableware). You will ensure that kitchen equipment are properly cleaned daily after close of operation.
• Assisting Outlet Manager in overseeing the weekly scheduling of all team members.
• Promptly report food quality or shortage problems to Outlet Manager.
• Conducting regular inspections of the entire kitchen/dishwashing areas and coolers and promptly act to correct deficiencies found during inspection and reporting issues to the Outlet Manager.
• Perform minor repairs to kitchen equipment and co-ordinate with suppliers directly for major damage / malfunctions to equipment.
• Adhering strictly to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ensuring that all kitchen employees consistently adhere to uniform, grooming and appearance standards of Kyochon.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Outlet Manager as necessary and related to your job role.
• Meeting and greeting customers and organising table/online reservations.
• Giving out menus and taking orders for food and drink.
• Introducing customers to our brand and menu and recommend signature menu items of the restaurant.
• Monitoring and coordinating the serving of food and drink.
• Dealing with bill payments.
• Making sure tables are clean and ensure that hygiene standards are kept at all times.
• Ensure service areas are well stocked with supplies such as napkins and tableware.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the Outlet Manager.
• Training and motivating service crew, including guiding the familiarisation of menu
• Respond to customer complaints
• Ensure service crew adhere to uniform, grooming and appearance standards of Kyochon.
• Execute opening or closing procedure, including monitoring of petty cash and bank in of petty cash at end of shift.
• IN CHARGE of estate operations such as harvesting, upkeep maintenance, supervision of workers and other related field works. (Based in Estate Locations)
• POSSESS at least a SPM / STPM / SAVTI / Institute Pertanian Sarawak Certificate / ISP Certificates
• MINIMUM of 5 credits including Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mathematics is required for SPM holders
• FRESH school leavers and Experienced Field Supervisors (at least 2 years working experience) are encouraged to apply
• TRAINING will be provided for all successful candidates (for fresh school leavers)
