Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Group Strategy & Alliances and is required to present strategies for marketing and studying the company’s competitors, plan and carry out business development activities and promotions in the form of talks, exhibitions and web marketing, among others. The incumbent will take the lead in developing web marketing and communications and establish a strong ELS branding in the market. Together with the team in the marketing department, look into creating sales and marketing activities to improve student population and retention rates. Job Duties
Business Development & General Marketing
• To explore and develop marketing strategies and plans for existing and new markets;
• Study and collate competitors information in order to ensure a good grasp of industry trends, strategise into new market segments and take a proactive role in proposing a shift in the company’s business operations;
• To monitor and execute leads nurturing activities with counsellors to sustain higher conversion to enrolments;
• To have regular meeting with centre heads and counsellors to address marketing related issues and build teamwork;
• To coordinate marketing activities to increase sales of the Company’s products and services;
• To compile monthly statistics, analyse and make comparisons on past statistics and forecasts;
• To work towards the fulfilment of Company KPI’s and enrolment goals;
• To sustain an overall positive team spirit and morale for productivity and effectiveness in all of the department’s endeavours;
Web Marketing & Communications
• To manage and coordinate ELS’ websites, search engine and social media platforms to maximise external exposure, improve online enquiries, constantly update news and events and develop competitions for online users;
• To manage online marketing work in accordance with the marketing plan as determined by the department head;
• To support helpdesk, business associates & email enquiries regarding ELS programmes, procedures and student services;
• To prepare web statistics and reports for web strategies and decision-making;
• To perform copywriting for internal and external communications;
• To develop marketing collaterals for print and web materials;
Branding & Events
• To visit schools counsellors, organise school talks, attend school exhibitions, collect student’s data, maintain effective communications with schools and carry out related outreach activities to create awareness with students;
• To network and leverage on schools relationship to promote brand, products, services and building long-term partnership projects;
• To organise exhibitions, conferences and other events;
• To oversee ELS’ branding through media coverage
Auxiliary
• To undertake any other projects or work assignments as assigned by Management;
• To plan and promote the Holiday English Camp for International/Malaysian students;
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, with a major in Marketing, Management or a related field
Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in the education industry
English language proficiency required
Responsible for articulating, coordinating, managing and analysing all advertising, marketing, and promotional materials and activities with regular updates to the Management
Responsible for overseeing digital marketing and communications and implementing strategies for marketing events and campaigns
Responsible for researching current market conditions

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Plan, coordinate and implement effective marketing programs and strategies.
• To plan the marketing activities and events/campaigns/road show with media for the company’s current or new launch properties
• To conduct the training, motivating and advice for the sales team
• Manage daily sales gallery operation & oversee the sales administration process & plan for sales team activities
• Assist customers in obtaining the end financing needs and arrange for the necessary sales documents to be executed by the customers with the Group's panel lawyers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Marketing / Business or related discipline.
• At least 5 years working experience in Property Sales & Marketing, preferable in the property development and real estate industry.
• A committed team player who is resourceful, dynamic and possesses good market intelligence and an acute sense of the market environment.
• Independent, result-oriented, aggressive in sales and able to develop effective marketing plans and strategies to ensure achievement of sales targets.

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting commercial targets and creating new opportunities by leading local sales, technical service, and market development team in South ASEAN. The Sales & Marketing Manager is also responsible for growing the team and meeting the expectations set for the team in South ASEAN – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & marketing strategy development and implementation in South ASEAN (Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia).

Help defining strategies to increase the market share and build a stronger company presence in the industry.
Collaborate with company personnel in other countries and regions.
Collaborate with Technical team to resolve technical issues at customers.
Basic technical support to customers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, ideally Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
A degree in architecture, construction management and/or Master of Business Administration also a plus.
Min. 8 to 10 years or more years of working experience in Chemical industry
At least 5 years knowledge in laminated safety glass industry is preferred.
Pricing & Forecasting experience
Sales, Technical Sales, and Business Development career preferred.
Working experience in Foreign-owned Company, or Multi-National Company Preferred
PVB R&D or Sales Experience for Safety Glass Business is preferred.
Good Understanding of the Market.
Skilled with GCRM and SAP systems.
