Summary: To manage the retail section as a successful profit center, ensuring maximum Customer satisfaction in consistent manner, maintain product quality, increase sales & margin, reduce wastages through organizing a well-planned training that will help upgrading department staff skills and result in quality displays, freshness and service-oriented operation
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the department is managed efficiently according to establish standards (create standards)
- To ensure that established SOP standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of standards in the department
- Ensure that all operating equipment’s and supplies are controlled and maintained strictly so that the department is adequately equipped
- To practice "hands-on" approach in the production (outlets/Production) and to avoid any mal-practices
- To ensure that all products being prepared/produced according to established standards Merchandise handling standards must be maintained at all times
- To reinforce standards in the preparation areas, item quality, display, equipment’s, freshness, hygiene, general maintenance and cleanliness
- To audit all products produced in-term of quality, freshness, appearance, packaging and price labelling
- To ensure that all products received (raw materials) are in-accordance to our quality standards
- Coordinate closely with Head of Halal Meats on the implementation of new items creation
- Ensure that all staff are equipped with proper working environment, tools and knowledge to enable them to be productive and efficient in their work
- Maintains regular customer feedback/requests via Sales & Marketing and to ensure existing Customers are satisfied with our products
- Attend all meetings as required by Superiors
- To ensure that wastages (trimmings) are minimized and properly re utilized on daily basis
- To coordinate all stock take activities as scheduled by Cost Control and ensure accuracy & compliance
- To achieve established Disposal Targets on monthly basis
- To make sure disposals are recorded properly
- To prepare weekly report for any loss, breakages and ab-normality's in Section
- To recommend in store Promo items and weekly activities
- To maintain and record all incidents/complaints/requests as they happen and resolve them
- Ensure that the all sections are kept cleaned and organized, both at the front as well as the back area including storage (showcases, freezer rooms, equipment’s, Chiller rooms)
- Strictly follow-up all repairs or servicing maintenance job with outlet managers/technicians to ensure that proper maintenance of all equipment’s in designated areas
- To ensure that good hygiene practices being performed & maintained by all at all times
- To assist in identifying training needs and plan training programs for all subordinates including preparing Training Manuals and Standards together with HRD Department
- Conduct training for subordinates in accordance to the daily/weekly/monthly training plan in order that all subordinates have the necessary skills/knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- To ensure that all subordinates have a complete understanding of our established
- Work Standard & SOP and to audit their day to day performance and recommend re-training as and when needed
