Kelayakan
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 2-5 years of working experience.
- Malaysian.
- Registered with BEM
- Providing engineering for hydrologic studies, 1D and 2D hydraulic investigations, flood risk analysis, spillway sizing, and dam break analysis.
- Completing hydraulic and technical calculations to size and identify pumps, valves, and equipment based on those calculations.
- Providing engineering for hydrologic studies, 1D and 2D hydraulic investigations, flood risk analysis, spillway sizing, and waterway diversions.
Tanggungjawab
- Significant technical experience in clean/potable water pipeline design and wastewater network and associated infrastructure design.
- Knowledge and experience of pipeline material selection procedures and corrosion protection systems, structural design procedures for both landside and underwater pipelines, offshore intake design, longsea outfalls, and diffuser designs.
- Experienced in analytical methods used for offshore hydrodynamic assessments and on-bottom stability analysis for underwater pipelines, etc.
- Familiar with trenchless pipeline installation techniques (HDD, tunneling), pipeline condition assessment, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proven ability to lead a portfolio of technical projects, ensuring compliance with relevant quality assurance and technical standards and supporting the development of less experienced staff.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary water pipeline and network projects with other technical disciplines, including environmental specialists, geotechnical, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
- Good understanding of designers’ responsibilities under CDM.
- Proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to be able to enter into technical discussions in a logical and coherent fashion in both oral presentations and written reports, with colleagues, non-technical staff, and clients.
