Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Executive to support our construction site teams in managing contractual and project delay matters. This role is critical in drafting and compiling Notices of Delay (NODs) and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, assisting with the preparation of project work programs, and conducting time impact analysis (TIA).
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in construction, contracts, or planning roles.
- Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB, JKR) and delay claim procedures.
- Strong skills in project scheduling and familiar with software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in preparing or analysing work programs and performing time impact analyses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience preparing EOT submissions with TIA support.
- Familiarity with Windows Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built methodologies.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Independent, reliable, and proactive team player.
Tanggungjawab
- Assist site and project teams in preparing, drafting, and issuing Notices of Delay (NODs) in compliance with contract provisions.
- Compile and submit Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including gathering and organizing supporting evidence.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of project work programs specifically for EOT submissions, based on contractual and project requirements.
- Able to conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA), including prepare as-planned vs. as-built programs and prepare windows analysis, to justify delay events.
- Advise site teams on scheduling matters and assess the impact of delays on the overall project program.
- Draft formal correspondences related to project delays, disruptions, or contractual time-related issues.
- Coordinate with planning, site, and contracts departments to ensure accurate documentation and timely submissions.
- Track and maintain proper records of all notices, correspondences, and delay-related documentation.
- Provide general support in contract administration and compliance tasks.
