Kelayakan
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Chinese Cuisine, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef in hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques, including stir-frying, steaming, roasting, and soup preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese herbs, spices, and traditional flavors.
- Ability to handle large-volume meal preparation while maintaining quality.
- Hygiene & Safety: Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP) and Malaysian health regulations.
- Language Skills:Mandarin speaking is required to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and suppliers.
- Work Ethic: Strong teamwork, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Tanggungjawab
- Menu Planning: Develop and design traditional and modern Chinese cuisine menus based on nutritional balance and employee preferences.
- Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality Chinese dishes including stir-fries, dim sum, soups, seafood, roasted meats, and specialty regional dishes.
- Ingredient Selection: Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients, managing inventory and supplier coordination.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in compliance with Malaysian health regulations.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes.
- Cost Control: Monitor kitchen expenses, minimize food waste, and ensure cost-effective ingredient sourcing.
- Catering Services: Prepare meals for special company events, VIP guests, and staff dining facilities.
