- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, with at least 4 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero or similar).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial control and reconciliation practices.
- Experience in handling multicurrency payments and working with fintech/payment gateway platforms.
- Familiarity with Singapore GST rules and guidelines is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, proactive attitude, problem solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exposure to other finance functions outside of AP is a plus.

We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented and motived Senior Finance Executive (Accounts Payable Team Lead) to lead our Accounts Payable (AP) operations and managed a remote team of five finance support professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting AP functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment processes, managing merchant relationships, supporting month-end closing activities and team development. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of the Accounts Payable process, including employee expense claims and payment gateway transactions, in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Oversee AP month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Reconcile AP and bank accounts; review AP aging reports and ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Handle multicurrency payments for overseas entities via banking platforms and fintech solutions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external merchants to resolve AP-related queries and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation within the AP function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor a remote team of 5 Finance Support professionals, including training, performance management, and workload delegation.
- Provide support for ad-hoc finance tasks and cross-functional projects as required.
