POSITION SUMMARY

This position involves assisting customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and purchases while ensuring a positive shopping experience. It also supports sales growth by promoting products, maintaining inventory, and processing transactions accurately. By following standard operating procedures, upholding housekeeping standards, and representing the company with professionalism, the role contributes to smooth daily operations, consistent service quality, and customer satisfaction.

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers, ensuring their needs are attended to and questions are answered clearly.
  • Work towards achieving monthly sales targets by recommending products, promoting special items, and suggesting add-ons where suitable.
  • Develop and apply product knowledge, including cake ingredients, healthier options, and the use of quality butter, to guide customers in their choices.
  • Perform professional cake cutting and presentation in accordance with Fusion’s standards (training will be provided).
  • Act as a brand ambassador by representing company positively and maintaining a polite, professional, and approachable attitude with customers at all times.
  • Replenish and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are always available.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met, keeping the retail environment clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle POS transactions accurately and responsibly, including cash, e-wallet, and card payments.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of sales transactions, verifying collections against goods sold, and escalating any discrepancies promptly.
  • Follow established Retail SOPs to maintain consistency in operations, service quality, and compliance.
  • Carry out, as and when required, any additional tasks and responsibilities which are reasonably compatible with this job description and objectives.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum SPM, Professional Certificate, or Diploma in Business, Hospitality, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in F&B or lifestyle products. Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and contribute to team performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for customer engagement and service excellence.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling POS transactions and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Team player who can adapt to a retail environment and is open to working weekends and public holidays, with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer or POS system knowledge is an advantage.
