Job Description

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked goods
  • Develop seasonal and signature dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies while minimizing waste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in accordance with food safety standards
  • Train and supervise junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients
  • Manage production schedules to meet service demands and special events

 Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume F&B establishment
  • Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts preferred
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, flavor profiles, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and aesthetics
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
