Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, including personal files, contracts, and leave records.
  • Support recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and communicating with candidates.
  • Help onboard new employees by preparing documents, briefing company policies, and collecting required forms.
  • Process HR documents such as employment letters, confirmation letters, and warning notices with proper documentation.
  • Maintain and organize HR filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Assist in tracking employee attendance, leave applications, and overtime records.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and summaries for internal use and management review.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and local labor laws.
  • Coordinate with other departments for HR-related queries or document needs.
  • Support the HR team in organizing internal training, employee engagement activities, and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or working experience in HR is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR documentation practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling employee information.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with standard working hours.
  • May require occasional overtime during recruitment periods, payroll cycles, or HR events.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
