Job Target
To ensure production targets are achieved with controlled cost and on-time delivery by effectively managing manpower, quality performance (FPY and defect rate), downtime, 5S and safety compliance, continuous improvement activities, operator competency through training, part drop control, and smooth implementation of new models or 4M changes in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Job Description
- Supervise all production operations including manpower planning, overtime control, and resource management to ensure daily production targets are achieved, overtime is controlled, costs are minimized, and delivery is completed on time.
- Lead, monitor, and manage production workers’ performance to ensure good attendance, discipline, consistent work quality, and reduced rework caused by operator errors, while providing coaching and guidance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to ensure improvement in productivity, efficiency, and product quality, and to reduce waste and recurring production issues.
- Ensure excellent housekeeping and maintain 5S at a high standard to achieve a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reduce safety risks, and support consistent product quality.
- Upgrade workers’ skills and knowledge through structured training programs to ensure operators are competent, multi-skilled, and able to meet quality and productivity requirements.
- Perform and verify visual inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements, defect rates are controlled, and first-pass yield is maintained.
- Prepare and ensure availability of raw materials and parts to prevent production delays, line stoppages, or quality issues caused by material shortages or errors.
- Update and monitor daily downtime and production yield to ensure quick response to abnormalities and continuous improvement in equipment and process performance.
- Support production planning and prioritize operations to ensure smooth production flow, minimal delays, and adherence to the production plan.
- Monitor part drop and take corrective actions to ensure part loss is minimized and recurring issues are prevented.
- Support new model introduction and 4M changes to ensure smooth changeover with minimal impact on quality, productivity, and delivery.
- Allocate working time effectively between supervision and operational tasks to ensure adequate manpower monitoring and stable daily production performance.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Professional Cert in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or with equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Technical understanding of electronics assembly and equipment
- Data reporting (output, downtime, yield), and strong safety awareness.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and safety procedures.
- Able to work in shifts and under pressure to meet deadlines.
