Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Purchasing Executive / Assistant in daily tasks

• Ensure smooth coordination between HQ, branches, and suppliers

• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to team members

• Maintain discipline, accountability, and teamwork

• Support manager in driving team performance and KPIs

• Lead negotiations with suppliers for pricing, rebates, and terms

• Drive margin improvement initiatives for seafood category

• Monitor and control cost prices aligned with market trends

• Analyze sales, margin, and cost data to identify opportunities

• Ensure 100% accuracy of cost/pricing updates in system

• Support budget control and cost-saving initiatives

• Ensure high availability of key seafood products

• Resolve supplier and product issues impacting operations promptly

• Support branches with urgent and special product requests

• Improve service levels through proactive supplier management

• Manage replenishment planning and ordering processes HQ

• Improve purchasing processes for efficiency and accuracy

• Work closely with branches to optimize ordering practices

• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and performance

• Ensure suppliers meet delivery, quality, and pricing expectations

• Develop backup suppliers for key items (risk mitigation)

• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluation

• Stay updated on seafood market trends, pricing, and supply risks
