What you will do

As the Senior SEM Manager, you are responsible for the creation, design, execution, optimization and reporting of search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across client accounts.

You are an analytical thinker able to create ROI models around core project KPIs, turning data driven insights into actionable account improvements. You have proven experience with business intelligence tools, and you have the knowledge to build custom dashboards and reports for client projects.

You are the subject matter expert in SEM and SEO with domain expertise in Google AdWords, Google Display Network, UAC/mobile, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics as well as other similar tools and platforms.

You have the ability to think strategically and execute brilliantly and nurture these abilities in others. You will ensure that systems and procedures are maintained and that the business operates profitably, within budget and to the highest level of quality, efficiency, client service and professionalism.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Lead the communication with client and internal project-team, on complex projects / accounts.
  • Champion the overall planning, execution and success of search marketing campaigns and integrated projects.
  • Effectively plan campaigns, create audiences, optimize creatives and messaging through structured A/B testing, integrate and set up of tracking solutions and optimization of KPIs.
  • Investigate, initiate, manage and direct new and better ways of driving performance marketing metrics.
  • Be the thought leader within the Company and help other team members where needed and share past experiences to energise and motivate the team as a whole.

To be successful, you will have:

  • At least +6 years proven experience in SEM or related field.
  • Experienced with SEM channels and tools and SEO strategy and technical setup.
  • Proven understanding of user journey based marketing and the value of data driven insights to generate insights that can be used to deliver better results for clients.
  • Understanding of business intelligence and performance reporting (using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Tableau and other similar tools).
