Main job responsibilities:
- Develop scientific concept for new products based on knowledge of science with deep understanding of consumer needs, countries regulation, health and ingredient trends.
- Perform preliminary regulatory check on potential active ingredients and provide nutrient function claims requirement to learn different key markets regulation.
- Set up flag sheet product database with new emerging science of active ingredients and build up connection with suppliers and/or KOLs to keep abreast with latest industry trends and scientific communication potential.
- Development of scientific education toolkits (e.g., videos creation, training decks) and learn effective ways of cascading the information to marketers to facilitate local market sales initiatives to consumers.
- Lend support to marketing in areas of health and wellness, learning how to manage marketing and consumer queries strategically with understanding of existing product science.
- Support in giving external and internal talks on health, body physiology and product science, when needed, to enhance presentation skill.
- Bachelor Degree in Sceince or its equalvant.
- 3-6 years of relvant working expereince.
- Knowledge in biological science, functional ingredients, and nutrition with strong interest in commercial aspects of complementary healthcare.
- Ability to bridge science and marketing needs.
- Capability to understand market/ consumer trend and build hypotheses.
- Positive thinker, with excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- A creative mind, motivated, good planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary team.
