Tanggungjawab
1. Create conceptual design, prototype and realize final medical product and solution.
2. Strives to meet the product development, production and quality goals set by the department and ensure the product and project assigned are completed on schedule.
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Create design concepts, CAD models and drawings to determine the best product to meet customer requirement (safety and efficacies).
2. Present product ideas to relevant team members for review and brainstorming.
3. Propose improvements to design and performance to new or existing product.
4. Employ design concepts into functional prototypes with consideration of DFx.
5. Participate and contribute to the assembly process in the product development cycle.
6. Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts.
7. Maintain up to date on current industry trends i.e., injection molding technology, rapid prototyping and related technology.
8. Coordinate with designers and team members to ensure accurate communication and efficiency throughout the product development cycle.
9. Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations.
10. Perform product verification and validation to ensure the product meets regulatory requirement.
11. Perform any other pertinent responsibility that may be assigned occasionally as required by Top Management or immediate superior.
Authorities
1. Shall make recommendation on items related to product intended use, design input and output, product design specification, V&V matrix, direct material specification and product validation strategies to the next level of management.
2. Authorized to change the product design, assembly and process flow, manufacturing work instruction and ensure product quality in the department/organizations.
Job Requirements
1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering.
2. Relevant work experience as a product designer is preferred.
3. ISO 13845 or related knowledge in product design and development.
4. Able to handle projects independently and plan related activities.
Skills
1. CAD software i.e., Creo.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Meticulous and diligent.
4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
