Technical Project Engineer

1. Liaise with customers and the internal sales team on opportunity development and new
projects.
2. Perform site visits to understand and collect data for customer requirements.
3. Prepare technical proposals for opportunities.
4. Conduct presentations and proposal and kick-off meetings for opportunity and project
development.
5. Plan and execute project elements: cost, manpower, method, material, and
machine/equipment for installation, new builds, and maintenance work at site.
6. Manage manpower during site work and engineering works – SA Technicians and 3rd party
contractors etc.
7. Manage project cost and progress throughout the project management cycle.
8. Ensure project documentation is in place from the start to the end of the project
management cycle.
9. Shape and establish product development and product improvement projects based on
customer opportunities and product performance in the field.
10. Assist the R&D Team with new product development cycles.
11. Prepare Technical Drawings, Bill of Materials, Literature, Product Data, Technical
Specifications, and CAD material for the development of new product designs by the
project.
12. Coordinate with other internal teams (Sales, Costing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) to
ensure project success.
13. Manage and monitor customer visit frequencies, product field performance, and field
technical issues.
14. Handle technical disputes to find the best solution moving forward.
15. Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis for products and services to initiate new
product development internally
16. Assist in the creation of marketing material for new products and services
17. Conduct new product introduction sessions with the internal team and customers via
webinars, presentations, and meetings
