Human Resource Intern

Assist in day to day efficient operation of the human resources department
Check duty roster, attendance and overtime claims
Study and improve constantly effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
Assist in orientation & entire onboarding journey of new employees
Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
Maintain and update employees personal information in personal file and payroll system
Ensure employees understand and comply with HR policies
Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure people are properly connected
Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues
Assist in employee grievances and disciplinary issues
Assist in company engagement, training and culture-building activities.

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in human resources
Computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and HR software programs
A human resources practitioner with good interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect people regarding all HR matters
