WEB DESIGNER

Job Responsibilities

• Designing user interface, tools and web pages following the companies branding guidelines and web best practices.
• Good judgement on balance between a good user experience and an effective marketing campaign.
• Design and build robust flash banners using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
• Define design, code, test, document, and implement web page designs which include marketing advertising campaigns.
• Add, delete and update graphic content to ensure appropriate timeliness, readability and clarity.
• Effective ability to keep up to date with current and future with web standards.

• Professional Diploma or Degree in IT/Visual Comm/Web Design or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience creating user-centered web solutions.
• Working knowledge of the capabilities/limits of current web technologies (JQuery, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Movable Type, AJAX, Flash, CSS etc.)
• Technically competent in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
• Technically competent in Front-end UI Development, i.e. HTML, CSS, Java script.
• Technically competent in slicing websites in WC3 standard of CSS framework.
• Strong experience in working closely with web developers for backend integration.
• Impeccable design sense and ability to translate objectives into visually pleasing designs.
• Broad knowledge in presentation of media (including rich media) and other content on the web.
• Excellent visual, written and oral communications and presentations skills.
• Strong knowledge on creative and technical aspects of web developments and content management systems is essential.
• Problem solver with a strict attention to detail.
• Competence to handle multiple-projects.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver quality work to sustain competitiveness.
• Strong passion in digital design, UI interfaces and web technologies.
• Online portfolio required.
