Chemical Engineer

We operate a chemical line to recover precious metals. The job-holder manages a team of workers and his or her duties include the following: a) To monitor and ensure that the production line runs smoothly and efficiently; b) To ensure regulatory requirements are complied with at all times; c) To ensure resources such as workers and equipment are optimally deployed; e) To ensure periodic maintenance of equipment and processes; f) To maintain a safe working environment at all times; g) To suggest improvements to processes and productivity; and g) To initiate recovery activities in the event of production disruptions.
