Production - Manufacturing Operator

We are an international manufacturing and processing organisation supplying a diverse range of clients with a range of high quality technical products. Working within our production and stock processing area, the Production and Manufacturing Operator will assist with a range of duties across the production department. Working Mon to Fri 37.5 hours per week, we can offer free parking and a starting pay rate of up to 10.50 per hr plus holiday pay, rising after successful completion of your probationary period.

The role would suit candidates with previous production, inspection, stock or assembly work experience or someone looking to retrain having previously worked in a hands on role in another sector that required a good eye for detail and accuracy.

Accordance with company procedures from goods receiving through to final inspection and
Packaging for shipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Fill in appropriate booking in documentation in goods receiving, carry out receiving inspection and prepare goods for cleaning in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare customer product for the coating process using cleaning methods specified in the company procedures
• Inspect and mask the customers product as per the company procedures using small hand tools, latex, tapes and other similar products.
• De-mask the customers product as per the company procedures using single sided blades, scalpels, tweezers and other small hand tools.
• Operate coating machines in accordance with manufacturing standard procedures.
• Clean and maintain coating equipment in accordance with manufacturing standard procedures.
• Operate, clean and maintain other equipment such as forced air dryers, vacuum pumps, vacuum ovens, chiller units, etc.
• Carry out in process and final inspection of customers product.
• Perform coating thickness tests.
• Construct jigs and fixtures to hold customer product for coating in accordance with engineering instruction.
• Inspect clean and refurbish fixtures used in the coating process.
