Kelayakan
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advance/Higher graduate diploma, Bachelor's degree, professional Degree in health & safety or equivalent.
- Certificate on Trained Person Safety & Health Coordinator or Certificate attendance on Safety & Health Officer course.
- 2 years experiences in Occupational Safety & Health at workplace.
- Good knowledge in Health and Safety regulations.
- Multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
Tanggungjawab
- To develop, implement and monitor company's safety policy and standard of procedures that comply with government and local authority safety regulations.
- To establish, review and update manual and ensure that the safety function is implemented and carried out effectively.
- To do workplace inspection at workplace and prepared relevant report daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- To liaise with consultants, relevant government bodies and regulating agencies such as Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), BOMBA and others to identify and resolve health and safety issues.
- Monitoring company’s safety equipment and system, such as hose reels, fire extinguisher, good hoist, boiler, personal protective equipment (PPE), first aid kits from time to time.
- Responsible for assess, control and monitor the safety and health of the workplace.
- Coordinate and lead emergency response team and conduct accident/incident investigations and follow through with any action taken to close the investigations.
- To investigate and report on all critical personal injury accidents and complaints of hazardous working conditions to superior.
- To act as a secretary of Safety & Health Committee.
- Work with Human Resources Department to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety.
- Conduct risk assessment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
