Marketing Manager - Reporting to Exhibition Director, MMI Asia Pte Ltd About MMI Asia MMI Asia is a full subsidiary of one of the world largest and leading exhibition organizers; Messe München GMBH (MMG). MMI Asia established in Singapore in 1992, is now embarking on a significant growth and expansion program, bringing some of MMG’s world leading brands to the ASEAN market. Through a combination of, geo clones, partnerships, joint-ventures, M&A and new greenfield launches, MMI Asia is growing its team in Singapore with exceptional, ambitious and innovative staff to assist the company’s growth strategies. Key accountabilities: • Produce and implement a strategic and execution plans for all campaigns, regularly review, forecast, monitor spend and report effectiveness of these plans. • Plan and execute visitor, delegate, sponsor and exhibitor marketing campaigns on time, to budget as agreed in consultation with Event Director. • Set out and monitor entire marketing budget and media plan. • Provide integrated marketing support for the exhibition/sponsorship/delegate sales teams. • Use the full marketing mix to promote the exhibition and conferences in accordance with the marketing strategy from utilizing below and above the line mediums including email, direct mail, PR, fax, social media, outdoor advertising, online advertising, trade and daily advertising, SMS, website, radio, search engine marketing and TV. • Co-ordinate and manage a range of supplier relationships including creative designers, website developers, the media, data houses, registration companies, printers and mailing houses • Manage Digital, Social Media and PR agencies to fulfil an international digital, social media and PR plan for each of the portfolio products • Ensure show websites are fully up to date with latest information. Manage the integration of any third-party modules between suppliers. • Produce effective advertising, marketing and sales collateral for all products – including copywriting, design, production. • Develop relationships with trade associations, media, regulators and industry organizations to foster support for events. • Manage PR agency in co-ordination with Event Director • Database management, development and ensure data governance and data management policies are adhere to • Copy write and proof all marketing materials in line with media plan • Assist the Event Management team to identify product development, sponsorship and branding opportunities that deliver new customers and visitor groups. Qualifications and experience: • Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience in B2B exhibition and / or B2B media marketing • Demonstrable experience of event marketing budgeting skills • Experience of developing and managing the execution of digital and social media strategy along with other best marketing best practices • Experience auditing existing procedures and introducing new procedures
