Job Description

• Develop and maintain Civil 3D models, including surface modelling, terrain analysis, and volume computations for coastal and reclamation works.
• Verify contractor’s monthly progress claims through independent quantity and volume computations using Civil 3D or equivalent software.
• Develop and apply digital capabilities for independent quantity and volume verification, including the use of survey data, drone-based modelling, and photogrammetry tools (e.g. Pix4D).
• Support design teams in transitioning from 2D to 3D modelling, including preparation of models, 4D simulation, sketches, tender drawings, and material quantity computation for engineering and tender submissions.
• Assist in preparing visualisation models for client and stakeholder presentations.
• Provide BIM support to construction supervision and project management teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Collaborate with the Coastal Engineering Team to plan, set up, and monitor BIM processes for coastal and reclamation projects.

Job Specification

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering drafting, modelling, or Civil 3D works for infrastructure or built environment projects. Experience in coastal and reclamation projects is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, including surface modelling and volume computation.
• Experience with quantity and material computation, or progress measurement is preferred.
• Experience with drone survey data processing or photogrammetry tools (e.g. Pix4D) is an advantage.
• Strong competency in Autodesk AutoCAD. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Navisworks, 4D simulation software, SketchUp, or equivalent is an advantage.
• BIM-related certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, building codes, and project implementation practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional teams.
