Job Description
- Manage and supervise daily operations of the technical and repair team.
- Lead and oversee technicians and repair workers to ensure repair jobs are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Inspect and verify the quality of repair work carried out by technicians.
- Troubleshoot and repair mobile phones, including hardware and software related issues.
- Diagnose faults in smartphones, tablets, and related electronic devices.
- Perform screen replacement, battery replacement, motherboard repair, water damage repair, and component-level troubleshooting.
- Ensure all repair work meets company quality standards and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Train, guide, and monitor junior technicians and new staff members.
- Assign repair tasks and manage technicians’ work schedules and performance.
- Maintain repair records, inventory of spare parts, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and solutions for difficult or complex repair cases.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of repair tools and equipment.
- Communicate with customers regarding technical issues, repair status, and recommended solutions when necessary.
- Implement workflow improvements to increase repair efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company operational procedures.
- Utilize extensive hands-on experience in mobile phone repair to support business operations and technical development.
- Keep updated with the latest smartphone technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends.
Requirements
Bachelor/Masters in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Minimum have 5 years of experience in corresponding field.
Candidates with prior experience as an Engineer in Singapore have an advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand products in sufficient depth and prior involvement in project management activities
