About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on engineer to ensure the reliability, uptime, and operational readiness of semiconductor test equipment and lab infrastructure.

This role focuses on equipment maintenance, lab operations, utilities, and vendor coordination and does not involve test program development.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall lab readiness, safety, and operational efficiency
• Monitor and maintain ATE equipment (testers, handlers, probers, ovens) to ensure maximum up time
• Execute and track preventive maintenance and calibration of ATE systems and instruments
• Manage inventory of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and test hardware
• Troubleshoot ATE systems and DUT boards; coordinate with vendors for repairs and advanced diagnostics
• Oversee lab logistics including receiving, storage, transfer, and shipment of equipment and materials
• Manage lab infrastructure systems such as air compressors, chillers, and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering teams with test setup, hardware bring-up, and debugging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related Engineering field
• 2–5+ years of experience in semiconductor test lab, ATE, or equipment engineering
• Hands-on experience with:
• ATE systems, handlers, or similar equipment
• Preventive maintenance and calibration
• Knowledge of:
• Electrical systems (power distribution, load management)
• Facility systems (compressed air, chilled water, HVAC basics)

Preferred

• Experience with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest V93000, Teradyne)
• Familiarity with lab operations, inventory, and logistics
• Strong troubleshooting and vendor coordination skills
