Position: Project Engineer (Mechanical +Process Design)

Salary Range: Up to $7,000

Working Hours: 5 days work week

Location: Tuas

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical design, drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for industrial/process projects.
• Design and develop piping systems, mechanical equipment, and utility systems according to project requirements.
• Review P&ID, GA drawings, and engineering documents to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams on technical and project matters.
• Support project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO), technical submissions, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering codes, and quality requirements.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in EPCM, process plant, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, petrochemical, or industrial projects preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.
• Familiar with piping systems,HVAC, utilities, and mechanical equipment design.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA or industrial compliance standards.
• Experience in project coordination and site supervision.
• Familiarity with commissioning and validation activities.
• Immediate starter or with short notice preferred
