Job Title: Site Safety Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join our team for the Intel PG12 project in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture on site, and work closely with Exyte’s HSE team and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce the site’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in accordance with Exyte and client standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure all safety measures are in place before work begins.
• Identify potential hazards, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) where applicable, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit daily safety reports, toolbox meeting records, and incident/near-miss reports.
• Coordinate safety inductions, training sessions, and ensure all personnel comply with PPE requirements.
• Liaise with Exyte’s HSE representatives, subcontractors, and client safety teams to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
• Participate actively in safety audits, emergency drills, and site safety meetings.
• Promote continuous safety awareness among all site personnel through consistent monitoring and engagement.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (JKKP Registered Site Safety Supervisor).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or industrial project environments.
• Prior experience working on semiconductor or cleanroom projects is highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other Malaysian safety regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites.
