Full Time Service Engineer Jobs, salary up to MYR 4,000 in Ophthalmic Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

We are seeking a motivated Engineer with strong IT and technical background to join our team in supporting medical and optical equipment. This role involves calibration, servicing, installation, system configuration, and providing technical support and training to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment at the office and customer sites.
• Install and configure medical devices, including software setup, system integration, and network connectivity where required.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for customers to ensure proper usage.
• Communicate with customers regarding calibration, repair, system issues, and service progress.
• Monitor service requests and ensure timely and high-quality technical support delivery.
• Conduct quality control (QC) checks on equipment before delivery or deployment.
• Identify, prepare, and manage spare parts, accessories, and system components for service jobs.
• Deliver and install machines at customer sites, ensuring correct setup, calibration, and operation.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, workshops, exhibitions, and product launches.
• Maintain service documentation, logs, and basic system records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or related technical field.
• Strong interest in hardware, software, networking, and system configuration.
• Basic understanding of IP addressing, device networking, and software installation is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Possess a valid driving license.
• Able to work on rest days occasionally depending on job urgency.
