Webist Pro Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen and protect web-based systems, applications, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with strong cybersecurity expertise, penetration testing experience, and a proactive approach to risk management and threat prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for cybersecurity protection and risk management for web-based systems
• Identify system vulnerabilities and conduct security assessments
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and security monitoring
• Ensure application, infrastructure, and network security best practices are implemented
• Support threat detection, prevention, and incident response activities
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve system security
• Monitor and recommend security improvements for applications and infrastructure
• Assist in developing security policies, standards, and procedures
• Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity and data protection requirements

Requirements

• Ideally 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
• Experience handling web-based application and system security
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation
• Familiar with Red Hat & White Hat security practices
• Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, and network security
• Experience securing web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

Pay: RM16,000.00 - RM22,000.00 per month
