Job Description

A. Parts Coordinator

i. Stock Planning

• Oversee and manage the checking and placement of orders for the entire region to ensure optimal stock levels.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs and place orders as required.

ii. Customer and Branch Support

• Respond promptly to inquiries from branches and customers regarding parts availability and order status.

iii. Warehouse Management

• Supervise warehouse operations, focusing on safety, cleanliness, and the organization of inventory to ensure efficient handling.

iv. Vendor Management

• Work with local vendors for sourcing parts and supplies, negotiating pricing and terms when necessary.

• Manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely supply of parts.

• Engage with local vendors for sourcing, including rental and used machines, to meet operational needs and optimize cost.

B. Marketing Assistant

i. Administrative & Strategic Support

• Assist in marketing-related activities, including marketing administration and promotional parts price setting in IDMS.

• Involve and support both online and offline marketing strategies and operational execution.

• Assist the Marketing team in providing product training to new joiners.

ii. Market Analysis & Pricing

• Conduct market surveys in collaboration with Parts & Sales Representatives (PSR) to understand market trends and prepare reports as and when required.

• Support and be involved in promotional price setting, including preparation of justification based on market feedback and analysis.

• Participate in HMAP price negotiations upon request from branches.

iii. Sales Promotion & Engagement

• Support the Marketing team in executing sales promotions, roadshows, and other marketing initiatives aimed at boosting sales.

• Work closely with the Marketing team and HMAP on sales promotion support, including customer visits, training sessions, and preparation of promotional materials.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Previous experience within the Automotive or Heavy Machinery sectors is highly preferred.

• Ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders at various seniority levels.

• Computer literacy.
