Job Description
A. Parts Coordinator
i. Stock Planning
Oversee and manage the checking and placement of orders for the entire region to ensure optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs and place orders as required.
ii. Customer and Branch Support
Respond promptly to inquiries from branches and customers regarding parts availability and order status.
iii. Warehouse Management
Supervise warehouse operations, focusing on safety, cleanliness, and the organization of inventory to ensure efficient handling.
iv. Vendor Management
Work with local vendors for sourcing parts and supplies, negotiating pricing and terms when necessary.
Manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely supply of parts.
Engage with local vendors for sourcing, including rental and used machines, to meet operational needs and optimize cost.
B. Marketing Assistant
i. Administrative & Strategic Support
Assist in marketing-related activities, including marketing administration and promotional parts price setting in IDMS.
Involve and support both online and offline marketing strategies and operational execution.
Assist the Marketing team in providing product training to new joiners.
ii. Market Analysis & Pricing
Conduct market surveys in collaboration with Parts & Sales Representatives (PSR) to understand market trends and prepare reports as and when required.
Support and be involved in promotional price setting, including preparation of justification based on market feedback and analysis.
Participate in HMAP price negotiations upon request from branches.
iii. Sales Promotion & Engagement
Support the Marketing team in executing sales promotions, roadshows, and other marketing initiatives aimed at boosting sales.
Work closely with the Marketing team and HMAP on sales promotion support, including customer visits, training sessions, and preparation of promotional materials.
Job Requirements
Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Previous experience within the Automotive or Heavy Machinery sectors is highly preferred.
Ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders at various seniority levels.
Computer literacy.
